RACE INFORMATION

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • DUE TO SAFETY CONCERNS PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY BAGS UNATTENDED NEAR THE POLICE STATION. We recommend bags be left at home or locked in your vehicle.  We cannot assume responsibility for lost, stolen or confiscated items. 
  • Strollers/baby joggers are no longer allowed on the 5K course, however they are allowed on the 1M course but you must begin in the back. Pets are also not allowed on any course.

Note Online Registration closes at midnight on Tuesday, November 22nd. On-site registration opens at 7:00am.

See the map below for reporting instructions.  If you are pre-registered please lookup your number, then head to the 5k Pre or 1M / Kids' Trot tent indicated. If you are not registered please go to the event day sign up tent.

Schedule: 

 

  7:00 am - Packet pickup & new registraton
  8:30 am - 5K Run
  8:40 am - 1M Fun Walk/Run begins
  9:15 am - Kids' Trot (12 yrs. & under)
  9:30 am - Awards Ceremony

Parking:

Be sure to arrive early to provide ample time to find a parking spot. Carpooling with friends and family members is encouraged. Click here to see the parking map. Early parking is available at Ginty Pool and municipal lots. Additional parking is available at Woodland School.

5K: Improved 5K course with runner friendly start, USATF certified, fast loop on scenic residential streets, water stop, mile clocks, 500 USATF-NJ Grand prix points.

 

5K Start: Please listen for announcements, look for pace signs, and only approach the start area when your pace group is called.

 

1 Mile: Easy and flat, out and back on part of the 5K course. The 1 Mile is a Fun Walk/Run open to participants of all ages and abiliities.

 

Kids' Trot: for children 12 and younger. Watch as they sprint across the grass at Ginty Field.    

Scoring & Timing

Best Racing System, B-Tag technology. Both Gun & Chip time provided; awards by Gun time.

*Chip time is the time between crossing the start to crossing the finish line. Gun time is the time between the Start Gun and crossing the finish line.

Awards

5k Awards: Top 3 overall winners (male and female)

Top 3 age group winners (male/female - 5 year groups)

Ages: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, etc. up to 85+
